Detailed Description of the OPPO Reno 14F 5G

Display & Outdoor Visibility: 6.57-inch 120Hz AMOLED

The Kenyan Reno 14F uses a 6.57-inch flexible AMOLED at 2372 × 1080, about 397 pixels per inch. That is sharper than the 1080 × 2400 panel on the Reno 13F 4G, and much sharper than the HD+ LCDs on the A3 and A5. The refresh rate steps 60, 90, or 120Hz. Colour depth is 10-bit, 1.07 billion colours, with full DCI-P3 in vivid mode.

OPPO rates typical brightness at 600 nits and high-brightness mode at 1,400 nits, so maps and selfies stay readable outside. The cover glass is AGC Dragontrail DT-STAR D+. Splash Touch and a glove mode are on the Kenya page, which helps in rain. The fingerprint reader sits under the screen.

Processor & Storage: Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, 12GB + 512GB, UFS 3.1

Inside is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with an Adreno 710. It is a 4nm 5G platform: four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. Everyday apps, the Reno camera pipeline, and medium games stay smooth. It is not a new Snapdragon 7 or 8, so the heaviest titles should stay on medium or high, not maximum.

We stock 12GB + 512GB with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which is quicker than the UFS 2.2 in the Reno 13F 4G. Twelve gigabytes keeps the camera, WhatsApp, and a browser open. OPPO Kenya lists a memory card slot and USB OTG. Other countries sell 8GB + 256GB; that is not the Kenya unit on this page.

Camera System: 50MP OIS Main, 8MP Ultra-wide, 2MP Macro & 32MP Selfie

The main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX882 at f/1.8 with autofocus and 2-axis optical stabilisation. OIS is the real upgrade over the Reno 13F 4G main camera. Daylight portraits are the strength. The 8MP ultra-wide at 112 degrees is a real extra camera for rooms and group shots. The 2MP macro is a close-up helper, not a third main camera.

Rear video goes to 4K at 30fps, plus 1080p at 60fps, with OIS and EIS. That 4K option is not on the 13F 4G. The front camera is 32MP at f/2.0 with autofocus, which is uncommon at this level and better for Zoom and selfies than a 5MP A-series camera. OPPO also lists an underwater photo mode on a phone that is IP69.

Battery & Charging: 6,000mAh with 45W in the Box

OPPO Kenya lists a 6,000mAh typical battery (5,830mAh rated). Combined with the 4nm Snapdragon, that is a long day of 5G, photos, and video. OPPO quotes about 2.24 days of mixed use on its own tests.

The 45W SUPERVOOC charger, USB-C cable, and a case come in the Kenya box. OPPO's own figure is about 1 percent to 100 percent in 79 minutes. That is slower than a 90W Note, but it is the official number for this cell. Use the brick in the box if you want that curve.

Kenyan Network Connectivity, Audio & Software

OPPO Kenya lists a nano-SIM plus eSIM, and a second SIM is supported. 5G bands on the Kenya sheet include n1, n3, n7, n28, n40, n41, n77, and n78, which covers Safaricom 5G where it is live, then 4G on Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom everywhere else. Confirm the eSIM with your network before you drop a physical card.

There is no 3.5mm jack; OPPO says only digital USB-C earphones, not analogue ones. Wi-Fi is 802.11ac, Bluetooth is 5.1 with aptX HD and LDAC. It runs ColorOS 15. IP69 is the headline water and dust rating, with IP68 and IP66 also cited on the series page. Liquid damage is still not covered. Kenya colours on the spec sheet are Opal Blue and Luminous Green.

Buyer Guidance: What It Is Not & Alternatives

Know what it is not. It is the Reno 14F 5G, not the Reno 13F 4G and not a Find X. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is last-generation mid-range, not a gaming flagship. There is no headphone jack. The 2MP lens is a macro helper. 5G is still city-first in Kenya.

The OPPO Reno 14F 5G price in Kenya sits at the top of the OPPO phones we stock. Take the Reno 13F if you are happy on 4G and want a cheaper AMOLED Reno. Take the A3 if you only need WhatsApp, a jack, and 45W charging without 5G or 12GB of RAM.

We sell genuine units from The Bazaar Plaza, Moi Avenue, 10th floor, Wing A, Suite 1038, Nairobi. WhatsApp +254 739 238 917. We can hand it over in Nairobi today, or pack it for the courier.

Questions about the OPPO Reno 14F 5G

Is the OPPO Reno 14F 5G waterproof?

OPPO lists IP69, with IP68 and IP66 also cited, so rain, dust, and a lab dunk are the claim. It should not be treated as a dive phone, and liquid damage is not covered.

Does the Reno 14F 5G come with a charger?

Yes. The Kenya box has the 45W SUPERVOOC charger, a USB-C cable, a SIM tool, the guides, and a protective case.

Does the Reno 14F 5G work on Safaricom 5G?

Yes. The Kenya model is CPH2743 with 5G bands that include n1, n3, n7, n28, n77, and n78. It falls back to 4G on Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom where 5G is not live.

Does the Reno 14F 5G have eSIM?

OPPO Kenya lists nano-SIM plus eSIM, and a second SIM is supported. Confirm eSIM with your network before you rely on it.

How fast does the Reno 14F 5G charge?

OPPO says about 79 minutes from 1 percent to full with the 45W charger in the box. The battery is 6,000mAh typical.

Does the Reno 14F 5G have a headphone jack or a memory card slot?

No headphone jack; OPPO says only digital USB-C earphones. Yes, a memory card slot is listed.

Is the Reno 14F 5G good for gaming?

It is fine for everyday and medium games. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is a 4nm mid-range chip, so the heaviest titles should stay off the top graphics preset.

Reno 14F 5G or Reno 13F: which should I buy?

Take the 14F if you want 5G, OIS, 4K video, 12GB + 512GB, and the 6,000mAh battery. Take the 13F if you are happy on 4G and want to spend less.

What is the main camera on the Reno 14F 5G?

A 50MP Sony IMX882 with 2-axis OIS, plus an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro. The selfie camera is 32MP with autofocus.

Is this the same as the Reno 14 or Reno 14 Pro?

No. This is the Reno 14F 5G. The 14 and 14 Pro are different phones with different chips and cameras.

Can I pay for the OPPO Reno 14F 5G in instalments?

Yes. Pick one of the two plans in the tables above: a low deposit and daily payments for 12 months, or 50% to 90% upfront and monthly payments for 1 to 6 months.

What do I need to buy the Reno 14F 5G on a payment plan?

Bring your original Kenyan ID and the deposit. The low-deposit daily plan also needs an active Safaricom line. We do the sign-up with you in the shop or over WhatsApp.

What happens if I miss a payment on the Reno 14F 5G?

The phone is locked until you catch up. As soon as you pay what is due, it unlocks and you carry on with your plan.

Can I clear the Reno 14F 5G balance early?

Yes. You can pay off the balance any time, and paying early lowers the total you pay.

Can I get the Reno 14F 5G the same day?

Yes. Once the deposit is paid and the sign-up is done, you can collect it the same day at The Bazaar Plaza in Nairobi CBD, or we deliver it to you anywhere in Kenya.
