1. The Neckband Advantage: Security, Battery Stamina & No Lost Earbuds
True-wireless earbuds (TWS) have become popular, but they come with notorious real-world drawbacks: small battery life requiring constant charging case top-ups, weak microphones situated far from the mouth, and the constant risk of an earbud falling out during a sprint and bouncing down a sewer drain. Bluetooth neckbands eliminate these compromises completely.
By housing high-capacity lithium battery cells and advanced audio circuits inside an ultra-flexible, skin-friendly liquid silicone collar that rests naturally across your collarbones, neckbands distribute weight so evenly you forget you are wearing them. The microphone sits directly adjacent to your throat, delivering crystal-clear speech without background wind interference. When you finish a call, simply pull the earbuds out and let them dangle safely against your chest.
2. Oraimo Necklace Lineup: Necklace Pro ANC, Necklace 5, and Necklace Lite
Oraimo produces tailored neckbands engineered for specific athletic and budget requirements:
- Oraimo Necklace Pro (OEB-E80D — Active Noise Cancelling): The flagship of the line, boasting up to 25dB hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that silences engine rumble, loud city chatter, and gym clatter. Combined with transparency mode and a massive 50-hour battery, it represents the gold standard in premium neckband listening.
- Oraimo Necklace 5 & Necklace 4 (Dual EQ Multi-Connection): Built for power users who multitask between two devices simultaneously. Featuring dedicated dual-mode EQ, low-latency gaming mode, and 50-hour playback stamina, it transitions seamlessly between mobile phone calls and laptop video lectures.
- Oraimo Necklace Lite (OEB-E311 — Ultra-Budget Performance): Delivering signature Oraimo sound, 30-hour battery life, and sweat-resistant silicone construction at an entry-level price point under KES 2,500.
3. HavyBass Technology and Dual EQ Modes: Bass Boost vs Vocal Clarity
Music lovers in Kenya appreciate deep, thumping bass lines in Afrobeats, Gengetone, Reggae, and Amapiano. Oraimo equips its Necklace series with proprietary HavyBass acoustic tuning. Tuned by acoustic engineers to maximize diaphragm resonance, 10mm to 13mm composite drivers deliver rich, punchy sub-bass that you can physically feel without overwhelming middle frequencies.
On models like the Necklace 4 and Necklace 5, a dedicated physical EQ switch allows you to toggle instantly between "HeavyBass Mode" for intense workout playlists and "Normal Mode" for crisp podcasts, audiobooks, and customer support phone calls.
4. Magnetic Earbud Clasp: Instant Auto-Pause and Tangle-Free Storage
Fumbling for buttons while answering calls or pausing music is frustrating. Oraimo Necklace earphones feature intelligent magnetic Hall-effect sensors embedded within the back of each earbud casing:
- Snap to Pause & Sleep: Snap the magnetic earbud backs together around your neck, and your music automatically pauses while the Bluetooth radio enters ultra-low power standby mode to conserve battery.
- Separate to Resume & Answer: When an incoming call rings, simply pull the magnetic earbuds apart and insert them into your ears. The headset instantly reconnects and answers the call automatically — completely hands-free.
5. 50-Hour Endurance and AniFast Ultra-Rapid Charging
Battery longevity is where Bluetooth neckbands completely outshine true-wireless earbuds. While standard TWS buds require recharging every 5 to 6 hours, the Oraimo Necklace 4, 5, and Pro deliver an incredible 50 hours of continuous music playback on a single charge. For the average listener using headphones 4 hours daily, that means charging your neckband only once every two weeks!
Equipped with Oraimo’s proprietary AniFast smart charging technology, you never need to wait hours for replenishment. Connecting a USB-C cable for just 10 minutes provides a staggering 10 hours of continuous music playback — giving you more than enough juice for an entire work shift or gym workout before you walk out the door.

8. IPX5 Sweat Protection and Proper Cable Strain Maintenance
To ensure your Bluetooth neckband endures years of vigorous training and outdoor commutes, follow these operational best practices:
- Sweat and Rain Protection: Rated IPX5 water-resistant, Oraimo Necklace earphones withstand heavy perspiration, gym workouts, and sudden rainfall. After intense workouts, wipe the silicone band and ear tips with a dry microfiber cloth before charging.
- Avoid Cable Snagging: The flexible memory-metal collar can be bent without losing its shape, but avoid yanking or tugging forcefully on the thin connecting wires leading to the earbud heads.
- Keep the USB-C Port Rubber Flap Closed: Ensure the rubber protective flap over the charging port is firmly sealed during outdoor workouts to prevent moisture or dust ingress.

Why choose a Bluetooth neckband over true-wireless earbuds?
Bluetooth neckbands offer massive battery life of up to 50 hours (compared to 5–6 hours on TWS earbuds), superior microphone clarity due to closer proximity to the mouth, and secure around-the-neck retention that completely eliminates the risk of dropping or losing an individual earbud during sports or crowded commutes.
