Detailed Description of the Realme C100i

Display & Outdoor Visibility: 6.8-inch 120Hz HD+ LCD

realme’s global C100i spec lists a 6.8-inch LCD at 720 × 1570, about 254 pixels per inch, with a 120Hz refresh and 240Hz touch sampling. Scrolling feels light. It is still HD+, so text is softer than on the C85 Pro’s 1080p AMOLED. Colour is 83 percent DCI-P3 in vivid mode, 8-bit, 16.7 million colours.

Typical brightness is 700 nits, high-brightness mode 900 nits. That is brighter than the Note 60 and in the same outdoor class as the C71. The cover glass is Panda MN228. Blacks are grey because this is LCD. Official colours are Dawn Purple and Dusk Gray.

Processor & Storage: Unisoc T7250, 4GB + 64GB or 128GB

The chip is the Unisoc T7250, eight cores, Mali-G57 at 850MHz, LPDDR4X and eMMC 5.1. WhatsApp, M-Pesa, and YouTube stay usable. Heavy games belong on low settings. This is the same daily-use 4G chip as the C71, not the Helio G92 Max on official C100 pages.

We stock 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB. Four gigabytes is tight if you keep many apps open. Take 4+128 if this phone will hold photos. A microSD slot is on the global spec, next to two nano SIMs. Other countries list 4+256 or 6+128; those cuts are not on this page.

Camera System: 8MP Autofocus Rear, 5MP Front

The rear camera is 8MP at f/2.0 with autofocus and a 78-degree 4P lens. That is the clear step down from the C100d’s 50MP. Daylight WhatsApp shots are usable. Night shots go soft, and there is no OIS. Rear video is 1080p at 30fps with retouch on, plus 10× digital zoom.

The front camera is 5MP at f/2.2, 720p video. Fine for a call. If camera is why you are comparing C100i and C100d, the C100d is the 50MP phone. The second opening on the island is not a second 8MP sensor.

Battery & Charging: Two Official Cells, 15W

The global spec lists two cells: BLPD25 at 7,000mAh typical (6,820mAh rated) and BLPD87 at 6,600mAh typical (6,450mAh rated). We do not guess which one is in a Kenya carton. We open the box and read the label with you. Either cell is a long 4G day if you are not gaming.

Charging is 15W (5V/3A), compatible with 15W PD, 13.5W QC, and 10W DCP. That is slower than the 45W brick on the C71 and the C100d. The global box lists a charger, cable, and a protective case. Filling 7,000mAh at 15W is an evening job.

Kenyan Network Connectivity, Audio & Software

Dual nano SIMs, 4G on Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom. LTE bands include 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, and 41. 5G is not supported. eSIM is listed as unsupported. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC are on the sheet.

The 3.5mm jack is still here — that is the everyday difference versus the official C100 / C100d, which uses Type-C earphones only. It ships with realme UI on Android 16. NFC is listed as unsupported. Side fingerprint is on the spec.
