Detailed Description of the Honor 70

Display & Outdoor Visibility: 6.67-inch 120Hz Curved OLED

The Honor 70 features an exquisite 6.67-inch curved OLED display with 1080 × 2400 Full HD+ resolution, 1.07 billion colors, HDR10+, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its symmetrical 58-degree curved edges melt into your palm, providing an exceptionally comfortable, premium hand feel.

Outdoor brightness reaches up to 1,000 nits peak, ensuring crystal-clear readability under bright midday Nairobi sunshine. High-frequency 1920Hz PWM dimming eliminates screen flicker and protects eye comfort during late-night reading.

Processor & Storage: Snapdragon 778G+ 5G with 256GB Storage

Inside is Qualcomm's acclaimed Snapdragon 778G+ 5G chipset built on a power-efficient 6nm process (prime Cortex-A78 core at 2.5GHz) with an Adreno 642L GPU. It delivers silky-smooth daily performance, fast 5G data speeds, and competent gaming on titles like Call of Duty Mobile with minimal thermal buildup.

It comes equipped with 8GB of physical RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The phone runs MagicOS with complete, native Google Mobile Services (Google Play Store, YouTube, Gmail, Drive) fully supported.

Camera System: 54MP Sony IMX800 + 50MP Ultrawide Array

The camera system was the global debut for Sony's large 54MP IMX800 sensor (1/1.49-inch, f/1.9). It captures astonishing dynamic range, rich shadow details, and accurate colors in low-light environments. Crucially, its secondary camera is not a filler lens: it is a full 50MP ultrawide sensor with autofocus that doubles as a macro camera focusing down to 2.5cm.

Video recording supports up to 4K at 30fps with gyro-EIS and Honor's innovative 'Solo Cut' vlog tracking mode. On the front, a 32MP camera captures razor-sharp, natural selfie portraits.

Battery & Charging: 4,800mAh Battery with 66W SuperCharge

Despite its ultra-slim 7.9mm profile, the Honor 70 packs a 4,800mAh battery that delivers dependable all-day stamina, routinely providing over 14 hours of continuous video streaming.

Charging is supported at 66W wired SuperCharge. It reaches 60 percent in just 20 minutes, and achieves a full 100 percent charge in 43 minutes. The original 66W charger is included in the box.

Kenyan Network Connectivity, Audio & In-Display Fingerprint

The Honor 70 provides dual 5G nano-SIM connectivity on Safaricom and Airtel networks, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC for mobile contactless payments. Biometric security is managed by a fast in-display optical fingerprint scanner.

Buyer Guidance: What It Is Not & Alternatives

The main camera relies on gyro-EIS rather than hardware OIS, and the phone features a single mono loudspeaker rather than dual stereo speakers. If dual stereo speakers and IP68 water resistance are required, compare it with the Xiaomi 15T or Poco X8 Pro.

This is the official Honor 70 price in Kenya for buyers seeking an ultra-slim curved OLED design, a flagship Sony IMX800 camera, and 66W fast charging. Available for cash purchase or via flexible monthly instalment plans with pickup at our Nairobi CBD store.

We sell genuine units from The Bazaar Plaza, Moi Avenue, 10th floor, Wing A, Suite 1038, Nairobi. WhatsApp +254 739 238 917. We can hand it over in Nairobi today, or pack it for the courier.
