Why the Hot line is the easy pick

The Hot sits between the Smart and the Note. You get 120Hz or 144Hz screens, 50MP main cameras, and batteries from 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh, without paying Note money. For a stall owner, a student, or a boda rider on maps all day, the Hot is usually the phone that makes sense on a small deposit.

Hot 70, Hot 60, and Hot 50: what changed

• Hot 70: the newest everyday Hot, with a 6,000mAh battery, a 120Hz LCD, the Helio G100 Ultimate, and 45W charging. It also has an IP65 rating and a memory card slot.
• Hot 70 Pro 5G: the Hot with 5G, a 144Hz Full HD screen, and a Sony 50MP camera in 8GB+256GB.
• Hot 60i, Hot 60 Pro, and Hot 60 Pro Plus: the 2025 Hot line. The 60i is the LCD model, the 60 Pro adds AMOLED, and the Pro Plus is the slim curved one.
• Hot 50 Pro Plus: the slim 4G AMOLED Hot from the year before, with a memory card slot.

How Infinix Hot payments work

Open the Hot you want and compare the tables for each storage. These are the plans on the Hot phones here:

• Plan 1, Low Deposit Daily: bring a Kenyan ID and an active Safaricom line, pay a small deposit, take the phone, then pay a small amount every day for 12 months.
• Plan 2, Fixed Term Daily: a Kenyan ID and a 20% deposit, then daily payments over 6, 9, or 12 months. A shorter term means a bigger daily amount but less in total.
• Plan 3, Flexible Monthly: a Kenyan ID and a bigger first payment (50% to 90% of the price), then monthly payments for 1 to 6 months. It suits someone paid once a month.

Every plan needs an active Safaricom line, because approval is based on your M-Pesa statement. On a daily or weekly plan you can add up the amounts and pay the whole month at once. If you fall behind, the phone locks until you catch up, then it unlocks and you carry on. You can clear the balance early, and paying early lowers what you pay in total.

Whether you call it lipa mos mos, lipa mdogo mdogo, buy now pay later, or lipa later, it works the same on a Hot: deposit first, then small payments.
