Detailed Description of the Infinix Hot 60 Pro Plus

Display & Outdoor Visibility: 6.78-inch 3D-curved 1.5K AMOLED

The screen is a 6.78-inch 3D-curved AMOLED at 1.5K, about 396 pixels per inch, with a 144Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i. That curve is the first thing you feel next to the flat 60 Pro. Text is sharp, blacks look black, and scrolling sits closer to a Note than to an LCD Hot.

Infinix rates the panel at 700 nits typical, 1,600 nits HBM, and 4,500 nits peak, so sunlight at a stage is easy. Always-On Display is built in. The phone is 5.95mm thick and about 155 grams, the slimmest Hot in this family, which is why the tray dropped the memory-card slot.

Processor & Storage: Helio G200, 8GB RAM, UFS 2.2, No Card Slot

Inside is the MediaTek Helio G200 on a 6nm process, with Mali-G57 graphics. That is the same chip as the 60 Pro and a step up from older listings that still said G100. Dual-SIM 4G, Chrome, Zoom, and mid-range games are comfortable. Very heavy 3D titles still need lower settings, and it is 4G only.

We stock 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, which matches the official Kenya page. Storage is UFS 2.2. The tray holds two nano SIMs only: there is no microSD slot. If you keep a lot of WhatsApp video and offline films, take 8GB+256GB, or look at the flat 60 Pro which still takes a card.

Camera System: 50MP Sony IMX882 & 13MP Selfie

The rear camera is a real 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with an f/1.79 lens and autofocus. In daylight that extra sensor quality shows in shop photos and family pictures compared with the 60i. The extra opening on the back is a helper lens; it does not take pictures on its own. There is no optical stabilisation and no ultra-wide sensor.

Night shots stay usable if you hold still, then go soft if your hand moves. Video reaches 2K at 30fps. On the front is a 13MP selfie camera. Portrait, Super Night, documents, and dual video are built in. This is the camera pick in the 60 family if you care about daylight stills.

Battery & Charging: 5,160mAh with 45W in the Box

The Kenyan Hot 60 Pro Plus has a 5,160mAh battery. That is the same cell as the 60 Pro, not the 6,000mAh pack in the Hot 70. The slim body and efficient AMOLED still cover a stall day of calls, WhatsApp, and some YouTube.

The 45W charger comes in the box. An English review of this model measured about 30 minutes to 50 percent and about 64 minutes to full. You also get 10W reverse wired charging. USB-C is the charge port; there is no 3.5mm jack, so wired earphones need a USB-C adapter.

Kenyan Network Connectivity, Audio & Software

It takes two nano SIM cards and works on 4G with Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom. It is not a 5G phone and the Kenya spec does not list eSIM. Wi-Fi is dual-band. NFC is on, so tap-to-pay works when your bank app supports it. You also get an infrared blaster and FM radio.

JBL-tuned dual speakers are louder and cleaner than the 60i's DTS set. The fingerprint reader sits under the screen. It is rated IP65, a step above the IP64 60 Pro, so rain and dust are handled a little more firmly. It runs XOS 15 on Android 15. Infinix has not published a five-year update promise for this Hot.

Buyer Guidance: What It Is Not & Alternatives

Know what it is not. IP65 handles rain and dust, not swimming. There is no memory-card slot and no 3.5mm jack. Night photos have no optical stabilisation. It is 4G only. Older listings that called this an LCD G100 phone were wrong.

The Infinix Hot 60 Pro Plus price in Kenya sits above the flat 60 Pro. If you need a card slot and a headphone jack, take the Hot 60 Pro. If you want a larger 6,000mAh cell and do not need AMOLED, look at the Note 60 Pro.
