Detailed Description of the Realme C75X 5G

Display & Outdoor Visibility: 6.67-inch 120Hz HD+ LCD

The screen is a 6.67-inch IPS LCD at 1604 × 720, which is HD+, about 264 pixels per inch. WhatsApp and YouTube look clean at normal reading distance, but small text is a little softer than on the Full HD+ C75. The refresh rate goes up to 120Hz, so scrolling feels lighter than a 90Hz or 60Hz budget phone. realme calls it an eye-comfort panel, with a typical 500 nits and 625 nits in high-brightness mode.

ArmorShell glass sits on top. The Kenyan box includes a screen protector and a case. It is still an LCD, so blacks are greyer than on an AMOLED, and you should not expect a flagship outdoor punch. The 120Hz mode is the reason to pick this screen over a cheaper 60Hz set if you scroll all day.

Processor & Storage: Helio G81 Ultra, 6GB or 8GB RAM

Inside is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, a 12nm 4G chip with two Cortex-A75 cores at 2.0GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz, and a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics unit. It handles calls, M-Pesa, WhatsApp, Facebook, and YouTube without drama. Heavy 3D games have to run on low or medium settings. This is not a 5G Dimensity chip, even though some older shop titles still say 5G.

We stock 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Take the 8GB+256GB if you keep many apps open and store videos on the phone. The tray holds two nano SIM cards and a microSD card at the same time. realme also offers software memory expansion; that is virtual RAM borrowed from storage, not extra physical chips.

Camera System: 50MP Main & 5MP Selfie

All your rear photos come from the 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens and a 1/2.88-inch sensor. In daylight it takes sharp, bright pictures for WhatsApp status. There is a high-resolution mode when you want extra detail. The extra dots on the back are helpers, not a second 50MP camera. There is no ultra-wide lens and no optical stabilisation.

Video is 1080p at 30fps on the rear and the front. Night mode brightens scenes, but you need a steady hand. On the front is a 5MP selfie camera at f/2.2, which is weaker than the 8MP selfie on the C75. It is fine for video calls and quick selfies, not for portrait work.

Battery & Charging: 5,310mAh typical with 45W in the Box

The Kenyan C75X uses the Middle East and Africa battery: 5,310mAh typical, 5,180mAh rated. Global pages often quote 5,600mAh, which is why you see that number on foreign reviews. A review of the 5,600mAh version measured about 90 minutes from empty to full with 45W. Treat that time as a guide, not a Kenyan lab figure.

The 45W charger and USB-C cable come in the Kenyan box, together with a case and a screen protector. That is the same charging story as the C75, on a slightly smaller cell. Charge it at the stall or overnight and you will not wait on a 15W brick.

Kenyan Network Connectivity, Audio & Software

It takes two nano SIM cards and works on 4G with Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom. It is not a 5G phone and the Kenyan spec sheet does not list eSIM. Wi-Fi works on 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth is 5.0, and the LTE bands include 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, and 28. The fingerprint reader sits in the power button on the side.

There is no 3.5mm headphone jack; you use USB-C or Bluetooth earphones. Oreality audio and an ultra-volume mode help in a noisy shop. It ships with Android 15 and realme UI 6.0, one generation newer than the C75. IP69 and IP68 mean rain, dust, and a rinse are fine, but realme's warranty does not cover liquid damage.

Buyer Guidance: What It Is Not & Alternatives

Know what it is not. It is 4G only, the screen is HD+ rather than Full HD, the selfie camera is 5MP, and there is no headphone jack. IP69 is for rain and a rinse, not for swimming. The Helio G81 Ultra is a daily-use chip, not a gaming set.

The Realme C75X 5G price in Kenya sits under the C75 when you want 120Hz and newer software without paying for Full HD+. If you want the sharper screen, the 8MP selfie, and the bigger storage options, take the C75. If you want a 3.5mm jack and a 6,000mAh cell, look at the Redmi 15C.
