Xiaomi Kenya lists a 6.67-inch AMOLED at 2400 × 1080, about 394 pixels per inch, with a peak refresh of 120Hz. That is Full HD class, so WhatsApp, YouTube, and maps look sharper than the HD+ LCDs on the Redmi 15C and Redmi 17. The Kenya page rates peak brightness at 1,800 nits and high-brightness mode at about 1,200 nits. GSMArena measured about 471 nits with the slider and about 1,312 nits in automatic mode on this 4G panel, which stays readable in Nairobi sun.

Gorilla Glass 5 sits on a flat sheet, not the curved glass on the Note 14 Pro. You get 100 percent DCI-P3, 960Hz PWM dimming, and TÜV low-blue-light, flicker-free, and circadian certificates. The phone is 8.16mm thick and about 196.5 grams. Kenya colours on the spec sheet are Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, Lime Green, and Mist Purple.

It handles calls, WhatsApp, M-Pesa, Chrome, and YouTube, and it keeps casual games comfortable. Heavy 3D titles want low or medium settings. This is the Kenya 4G Note 14, not the Dimensity 7025-Ultra Note 14 5G sold in other countries.

The Kenyan Note 14 has a 5,500mAh typical battery, not the 5,000mAh figure some older shop titles used, and not the 5,110mAh cell inside the Note 14 5G. Xiaomi quotes about 1.48 days of light mixed use and about 55 percent in 40 minutes or full in about 77 minutes with 33W. GSMArena timed this 4G model at about 27 percent in 15 minutes, 46 percent in 30 minutes, and full in 78 minutes on the original 33W brick.

The Kenya spec sheet says a power adapter is not in the box and then lists an adapter in the package contents, with a note that the carton can change by region. Xiaomi's Battery Health 3.0 is built to hold above 80 percent after about 1,600 cycles.

Kenyan Network Connectivity, Audio & Software

It takes two nano SIMs, or one SIM and a microSD card, and works on 4G with Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom. It is not a 5G phone and there is no eSIM on the spec sheet. Wi-Fi is dual-band, Bluetooth is 5.3, and an IR blaster can talk to a TV. Xiaomi Kenya lists NFC; the global note says tap-to-pay can still vary, so check the unit in the shop if you need it.

You get stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint reader sits under the screen. It ships with HyperOS on Android 14. Reviews of this 4G model report four major Android upgrades and six years of security patches. IP54 covers light splashes and dust, not a dunk, and Xiaomi's warranty does not cover liquid damage.

Buyer Guidance: What It Is Not & Alternatives

Know what it is not. It is 4G only, the card slot steals the second SIM, and the two extra rear lenses are 2MP helpers. There is no OIS and no ultra-wide. It is not a Redmi Note 14 Pro, which uses a 200MP camera, curved glass, and faster charging. It is not the Note 14 5G, which has a smaller battery and a different chip.
