Detailed Description of the Infinix GT 30 Pro

Display & Outdoor Visibility: 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED

The screen is a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED at 1224 x 2720 with a 144Hz refresh rate, so games and scrolling look sharper and smoother than a Full HD Hot. Gorilla Glass 7i sits on top, which is the same family of glass as the Note Edge.

Infinix rates the panel at about 700 nits typical, 1,600 nits in high-brightness mode, and a 4,500-nit peak flash. A lab review measured about 1,897 nits in auto mode, so maps and chat stay readable in hard Nairobi sun. Colours are punchy. If you wear a cheap matte film you will mute that punch, so pick a clear glass if you care about the picture.

Processor & Storage: Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, 12GB + 256GB

Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, a 4nm 5G chip. It is the fastest Infinix Android we stock, and it holds frame rates in PUBG and Call of Duty that a Helio Note cannot. A vapour chamber and the GT cooling path keep it from throttling as quickly as a slim Note during a long session.

We stock 12GB of RAM with 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Apps stay in memory when you jump from a match to WhatsApp and back. There is no memory card slot. Other countries list bigger storage rows; the unit on this page is 12GB + 256GB.

Camera System: 108MP Main, 8MP Ultra-wide & 13MP Selfie

The main camera is 108MP. In daylight it pulls extra detail for status and product shots when you use the high-resolution mode. Next to it is an 8MP ultra-wide with autofocus, which helps close-up and group shots. The Kenya spec sheet does not list optical stabilisation, so I will not promise OIS; hold still at night.

Video can record in 4K on the rear. The 13MP selfie is fine for calls and a quick portrait, and it is not in the same class as the 32MP Note 50 Pro. Night photos from the ultra-wide go softer than the main lens, which is normal on a gaming phone at this price.

Battery & Charging: 5,500mAh Kenya Pack, 45W and Wireless

The Kenyan GT 30 Pro has a 5,500mAh battery. That is enough for a work day plus an evening of games if you are not hotspotting the whole afternoon. Foreign sheets sometimes quote a different pack, so trust the Kenya number when you compare reviews.

Wired charging is 45W, and the charger comes in the box. It also charges at up to 30W on a wireless pad, which is rare on an Infinix at this level. Do not assume the pad is in the carton. Bypass charging on long sessions keeps the battery from heating while you play plugged in.

Kenyan Network Connectivity, Audio & Software

It takes two nano SIM cards. 5G works on Safaricom wherever their 5G is live, and it falls back to 4G on Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom everywhere else. The Kenya spec sheet does not list eSIM. Wi-Fi 6 is on board, which helps on a busy home router. NFC, an infrared TV remote, and FM radio are listed.

Capacitive GT Triggers sit on the shoulders so you can fire without covering the screen. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack. It ships with Android 15 and XOS 15. Speakers are loud enough for a match in a small room. The side fingerprint reader is where your thumb already rests.

Buyer Guidance: What It Is Not & Alternatives

Know what it is not. It is rated IP64, so rain and dust are fine, but it should not go under water. Charging is 45W, not the 90W Note class, there is no memory card slot, no headphone jack, and the 13MP selfie is ordinary. The back looks like a gaming phone; it will not pass as a plain office handset.

The Infinix GT 30 Pro price in Kenya is the gaming step in the Infinix phones we stock. If you want faster charging and a calmer design with a Snapdragon chip, look at the Note 60 Pro. If you want a simpler everyday 4G phone for less, pick the Hot 70.
