Detailed Description of the Infinix Smart 10

Display & Outdoor Visibility: 6.67-inch 120Hz HD+ IPS LCD

The screen is a 6.67-inch IPS LCD at 720 × 1600, about 263 pixels per inch. That is HD+, not Full HD, so small text is a little soft, but chats, Facebook, and YouTube look clean at normal reading distance. The refresh rate goes up to 120Hz, which is unusual at this level and makes scrolling feel lighter than a 60Hz first phone.

Infinix rates the panel at 560 nits typical and 700 nits in high-brightness mode, so it stays readable outdoors better than older 450-nit budget screens. It is still LCD, so blacks look grey at night. You get a Dynamic Bar at the top and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The punch-hole camera sits in the corner and does not eat much of the page.

Processor & Storage: Unisoc T7250, 3GB/4GB RAM, eMMC

Inside is the Unisoc T7250 on a 12nm process, with two Cortex-A75 cores at 1.8GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.6GHz, and a Mali-G57 graphics unit. It handles calls, WhatsApp, M-Pesa, YouTube, and light Chrome. Heavy 3D games often will not install, or they need the lowest settings. Storage is eMMC, which is slower than the UFS chips in the Hot 70.

We stock 3GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB. The official Kenya page also lists those plus a 4GB+256GB option we do not keep. Take 4GB+128GB if you can: 3GB fills as soon as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Chrome are open. The tray holds two nano SIMs and a microSD card up to 2TB, so homework files and offline video do not have to eat the 64GB drive.

Camera System: 8MP Main, IR Blaster & 8MP Selfie

The rear camera is one real 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 lens and autofocus. In daylight it takes usable WhatsApp photos if you give it light. The second circle on the back is not a camera: it is the infrared blaster that works as a TV remote. There is no ultra-wide lens and no optical stabilisation.

At night the Super Night mode brightens a scene, but results stay soft. Rear and front video both reach 2K at 30fps. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera with a screen-side flash, which is fine for video calls. This is not a photography phone; it is a first phone that also takes a quick picture.

Battery & Charging: 5,000mAh with 15W in the Box

The Kenyan Smart 10 has a 5,000mAh battery. A normal day of calls, WhatsApp, and some YouTube ends with charge left over. An English review of this model found the cell lasted a full day for most people, which matches what we hear in the shop.

The 15W charger and USB-C cable come in the box. Charging is slow: that same review measured about three hours from empty to full, so it is a phone you plug in overnight or while you are at work. There is no 45W brick here; that sits on the Hot series.

Kenyan Network Connectivity, Audio & Software

It takes two nano SIM cards and works on 4G, which Infinix also labels 4.5G, with Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom. It is not a 5G phone and the Kenya spec does not list eSIM. Wi-Fi is dual-band. The official Kenya page does not list NFC, so do not buy this if you need tap-to-pay. You do get an infrared blaster and FM radio.

Stereo speakers with DTS and a 300 percent volume mode are loud for a first phone, and there is a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. The fingerprint reader sits in the power button. It runs XOS 15.1 on Android 15. Infinix has not published a long update promise for the Smart 10, so treat it as a phone you use now, not one you keep for five software years.

Buyer Guidance: What It Is Not & Alternatives

Know what it is not. It is rated IP64, so rain and dust are fine, but it should not go under water. The rear camera is 8MP, not the 13MP module on Smart 10 HD, and charging is 15W. The screen is HD+ LCD. Heavy games are a poor fit, and 3GB RAM fills quickly.

The Infinix Smart 10 price in Kenya makes it the entry Infinix we stock for school, a parent, or a second line. If you want a 50MP camera, 45W charging, and a 6,000mAh cell, step up to the Hot 70. If you only need the basics and want to spend less, look at the Tecno Pop 10.

We sell genuine units from The Bazaar Plaza, Moi Avenue, 10th floor, Wing A, Suite 1038, Nairobi. WhatsApp +254 739 238 917. Take it today from The Bazaar Plaza, or wait for delivery.

Questions about the Infinix Smart 10

What is the battery size of the Infinix Smart 10 in Kenya?

The Kenyan Smart 10 has a 5,000mAh battery and 15W charging. That is the figure on the official Kenya spec page for model X6725.

Does the Infinix Smart 10 come with a charger?

Yes. The box has a 15W charger and a USB-C cable. English reviews of this model also found a case in the box.

How long does the Infinix Smart 10 take to charge?

About three hours from empty to full with the 15W charger in the box. Most people charge it overnight.

Does the Infinix Smart 10 support 5G?

No. It is a 4G phone, which Infinix also calls 4.5G, and it works on Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom. It takes two nano SIM cards and has no eSIM.

Does the Smart 10 have a memory card slot and a headphone jack?

Infinix Smart 10 or Infinix Hot 70: which should I buy?

Take the Hot 70 if you want a 50MP camera, 45W charging, a 6,000mAh battery, and NFC. Take the Smart 10 if you want to spend less and like the headphone jack.

Get the 4GB+128GB version if you can. The 3GB+64GB phone fills as soon as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Chrome are open.

Can I pay for the Infinix Smart 10 in instalments?

Yes. Pick one of the three plans in the tables above: a low deposit and daily payments for 12 months, a 20% deposit and daily payments for 6, 9, or 12 months, or 50% to 90% upfront and monthly payments for 1 to 6 months.

What do I need to buy the Smart 10 on a payment plan?

Bring your original Kenyan ID and the deposit. The low-deposit daily plan also needs an active Safaricom line. We do the sign-up with you in the shop or over WhatsApp.

What happens if I miss a payment on the Smart 10?

The phone is locked until you catch up. As soon as you pay what is due, it unlocks and you carry on with your plan.

Can I clear the Smart 10 balance early?

Yes. You can pay off the balance any time, and paying early lowers the total you pay.

Can I get the Smart 10 the same day?

Yes. Once the deposit is paid and the sign-up is done, you can collect it the same day at The Bazaar Plaza in Nairobi CBD, or we deliver it to you anywhere in Kenya.
