Which plan fits how you earn

Each phone shows only the plans that apply to it. Across the phones on this page you will see:

  • Plan 1, Low Deposit Daily: bring a Kenyan ID and an active Safaricom line, pay a small deposit, take the phone, then pay a small amount every day for 12 months.
  • Plan 2, Fixed Term Daily: a Kenyan ID and a 20% deposit, then daily payments over 6, 9, or 12 months. A shorter term means a bigger daily amount but less in total.
  • Plan 3, Flexible Monthly: a Kenyan ID and a bigger first payment (50% to 90% of the price), then monthly payments for 1 to 6 months. It suits someone paid once a month.
  • iPhone Instalment Plan: 40% of the price first, then weekly payments over 1 to 6 months. Bring your Kenyan ID and your last 12 months of M-Pesa statements.
  • Renewed Device Plan: a Kenyan ID and approval first, then a deposit and weekly payments over 6 or 12 months. After approval the deposit can be paid on delivery. This plan is only for customers in Nairobi, Nakuru, Kiambu, Kajiado, and Machakos.

Every plan needs an active Safaricom line, because approval is based on your M-Pesa statement. On a daily or weekly plan you can add up the amounts and pay the whole month at once. If you fall behind, the phone locks until you catch up, then it unlocks and you carry on. You can clear the balance early, and paying early lowers what you pay in total.

  • Your original Kenyan ID.
  • An active Safaricom line, because approval is based on your M-Pesa statement.
  • Your last 12 months of M-Pesa statements for the iPhone plan.
  • An address in Nairobi, Nakuru, Kiambu, Kajiado, or Machakos for the renewed plan.
  • The deposit or first payment shown in the table on the phone you pick.
